Mumbai, Dec 14 (IBNS): Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has said he turned emotional while accepting the Padma Vibhushan from Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh here.

"Overwhelmed today by the gesture of home minister @BJPRajnathSingh who flew to Mumbai specially to present me with the #PadmaVibhushan," Kumar said in one of the series of tweets he posted after receiving the award.

"Health did not allow me to travel to Delhi to receive the award from the President. CM @Dev_Fadnavis n Gov. Vidyasagarji too came to wish me," he said.
