Telugu actor Raj Tharun has found himself in a difficult situation after a young woman filed a complaint against him for abandoning her and having an affair with an actress, media reports said.

Lavanya, the woman, who claims to be his lover, has filed the complaint at the Narsingi Police Station in Hyderabad.

The woman claimed she and Raj had been in a relationship since 2012 and started living together in 2014.

She alleged Raj didn't take their relationship seriously and started dating a Mumbai-based young actress.

Lavanya has also alleged that the actress, her brother and others had given threats to her and also confined to her place.

On the work front, Raj is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Tiragabadara Saami.

The film, which is directed by A.S. Ravi Kumar Chowdary, features Malvi Malhotra alongside Raj.
