Thalaivi: Kangana Ranaut shares new look on Jayalalithaa's birth anniversary

Mumbai/IBNS: A new look of Kangana Ranaut as former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa was unveiled by the makers of her upcoming movie Thalaivi on Monday.

The image was shared by the makers of the movie on the 72nd birth anniversary of the former CM.

The movie is directed by Vijay.

Sharing the new look, Kangana posted: "Revealing Kangana's look from the film, #Thalaivi on the occasion of 72nd Birth Anniversary of #Jayalalitha. The film is based on the story of the life of J. Jayalalithaa, and touts to shed light on the lesser known aspects of her life."

Kangana also shared the original image of Jayalalithaa which inspired her in dressing up in her manner for the new poster.

The movie is scheduled to release in June.
