Thug Life: Amid excitement over Kamal Haasan's new look, makers set to make new announcement

The excitement over Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Thug Life is growing with each passing day as the project will mark the actor's reunion with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam after a gap of 37 years.

Now the makers have said that they will make a new announcement at 10 am on May 8.

In the video shared on YouTube, a line "Sigma Thug Rules" emerged from a desert.

It is widely speculated that the announcement could be about the introduction of actor Silambarasan TR's role in the film.

In a recent leaked picture on social media, Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan unveiling their new looks.

Among other actors who are in the film include Trisha Krishnan, Dulquer Salmaan, and Jayam Ravi.

The film is produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran and Siva Ananth.
