TMNT gets a Bollywood tadka!!!

Mumbai, Sept 10 (IBNS) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello took the screen by storm and kicked shredder's metallic ass to deliver a power packed cinematic experience last week.

Watching the film made us realize the dearth of such amazing films in India. Indian audiences love the unique characters and an Indian version of the film will be a pleasant surprise for them. Here’s the list actors of we think should voice the pizza munching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in a Desi version of the film.

Sanjay Dutt: Sanju Baba epitomizes the essence of Leonardo the leader with his apt “Bole Toh”. He is the one willing to solve problems and make peace. Sanjay Dutt is the big brother of Bollywood, protecting his clan and charging towards his enemies.  So Leonardo will now go, “Apne ghar mein kutta bhi sher hota hai ... lekin sher har jagah sher hota hai”. Oooh yea baby!

Sunny Deol: “Dhai Kilo Ka Haath”, act first think later and “I will bash you up if you come near my brothers” attitude...hmmmm do these things remind you of some one?? May be Raphael or could it be Sunny Paaji of Bollywood? Hmm.....for us, their similar attitude makes him the apt choice to voice Raphael the powerful red ninja turtle. Don’t come near him or HE WILL crush you!!!

Shahrukh Khan:  Imagine Michaelangelo as he does the typical Sharukh pose with April ONeal. What would Mickey say? Hmmm may be, “KKKK Kuch kuch hota hai April tum nahi samjhogi” King Khan of Bollywood would be apt choice to lend his voice for the girl crazy Michaelangelo aka Micky. Shahrukh’s lover boy image is the perfect for the ever lovable Mickey.... Cowabunga in Shahrukh style is the way to go!

Riteish Deshmukh: “Meri unglioon ki raftar … tumhare pairoon ki raftar se zyada tezz hai” Yes, that’s what desi Donatello would say!!!Our choice to voice Donatello would be our very own resident comedian and actor Riteish Deshmukh. Nerd of the group, Donnie as he fondly known as, is a master of his art. He knows his computers inside out and can make or break a perfect technical setup. Riteish’s quirky nature makes him a perfect fit for the equally unique Donatello!

And for the ultimate surprise, talented actor Boman Irani is the perfect match for the disciplined yet fatherly figure Splinter! Master Splinter will say, “Life is a cycle ... kabhi khushi deti hai, kabhi gham deti hai” teaching his students the importance of struggle of course after he finishes his 7 minute power nap! Boman always plays his characters with ease and confidence something that Master Splinter also exudes in the film.

These actors will provide a sprinkling of Bollywood tadka for Indian audiences.
