Mumbai, Mar 22 (IBNS): A remake of popular 90s movie Coolie No 1 will be made soon and this time the lead actor will be Judwaa star Varun Dhawan.

Coolie No. 1 was a popular film which featured Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in the lead roles.

Interestingly, the new movie will see Varun pairing opposite Bollywood's new sensation Sara Ali Khan.

Mumbai Mirror reported: "Sara Ali Khan steps into the role of the leading lady, which was originally played by Karisma Kapoor."

"The film is expected to take off in July," the news report said.

Sara made her Bollywood debut last year with Kedarnath and Simmba.

Simmba became one of the biggest hits of the year.

The original Coolie No 1 released in 1995. It was directed by David Dhawan.

Varun is not new to remakes as he was earlier seen playing the lead role in Judwaa.

The movie was based on the original 90s movie Judwaa which featured Salman Khan in the lead role.
