Varun Dhawan's October collects Rs 45.36 crore

Mumbai, May 4 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan's latest release has collected a little over Rs 45 crore at the domestic box-office.

In three weeks, the movie has garnered Rs 45.36 crore.

"#October [Week 3] Fri 36 lakhs, Sat 63 lakhs, Sun 72 lakhs, Mon 36 lakhs, Tue 45 lakhs, Wed 27 lakhs, Thu 18 lakhs. Total: ₹ 45.36 cr. India biz," business analyst and Bollywood movie reviewer Taran Adarsh tweeted.

He added, "#October biz at a glance... Week 1: ₹ 30.24 cr Week 2: ₹ 12.15 cr Week 3: ₹ 2.97 cr Total: ₹ 45.36 cr India biz."

October marked the debut of actress Banita Sandhu.

The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar.
