Veteran actor Dilip Kumar to be discharged from hospital tomorrow

Mumbai, Oct 10 (IBNS): Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who has been undergoing treatment at a hospital, could get a discharge on Thursday.

The 95-year-old actor is being treated for recurrent pneumonia at a city hospital.

According to latest statement, he is responding to the treatment and is in a better condition.

In a statement on his Twitter account, it has been posted that: "Lord be praised. @TheDilipKumar saab is responding to treatment and doing much better . If all goes well, as per doctors, he may be discharged from the hospital tomm. (Thursday afternoon). Insha'Allah."

The statement also thanked media for the respectful coverage of his health condition.

"On behalf of @TheDilipKumar, a big thank you to every reporter, journalist, anchor, cameraperson, news editor, blogger and each and every member of the media- for your kind and respectful coverage of Saab’s health. You make us proud!" the tweet read.

Last month, the actor was admitted to hospital for the treatment of pneumonia.
