Veteran actor Rekha turns 63

Mumbai, Oct 10 (IBNS): Veteran Bollywood actor Rekha, who had provided several hits in the late 1970s and 1980s, turned 63 on Tuesday.

Rekha, who has been an actor for last 50 years, started her career as a child artist with a Telegu film, Rangula Ratnam, in 1966.

However, as a lead actor, she started her career with Sawan Bhadon.

Rekha, who has often been acclaimed for her looks, played noticeable roles in films like Khubsoorat, Khoon Bhari Maang and Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi.

She had received Padma Shri from India government in 2010.

Rekha is an MP in Rajya Sabha.
