Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar treated for pneumonia

Mumbai, Dec 10 (IBNS): Actor Dilip Kumar is being treated for the "mild pneumonia", a family friend said on Sunday.

However, the veteran actor's health is now much better, confirmed the family friend via social media.

Faisal Farooqui, a family friend of Dilip Kumar, used Dilip Kumar's Twitter handle to update on his health.

He tweeted: "Saab was diagnosed with mild pneumonia. He’s been advised to rest at home. Allah is kind that all other parameters are showing normal - Saab is doing better now. Pls remember him in your prayers and duas. -FF."

"Dilip Saab is much better and has been treated for pneumonia. Allah ka shukr hai. Gonna post latest pic in next tweet. -FF," read another tweet.

He also shared an image of the actor.

Dilip Kumar is known for acting in some memorable Bollywood movies like  "Kohinoor", "Mughal-e-Azam", "Shakti", "Naya Daur" and "Ram Aur Shyam".
