Vikrant Massey ties nuptial knot with girlfriend Sheetal Thakur

Mumbai: Actor Vikrant Massey is married to his girlfriend Sheetal Thakur and on Saturday they posted their first post marriage pictures on Instagram.

A day after the actors tied the knot, Vikrant shared his wedding pictures along with a note to his wife.

Sharing the first official pictures from their Friday wedding Vikrant wrote in Hindi, “Saat saalo ka ye safar aaj saat janmo mein badal gaya. Is safar me humara saath dene ke liye bahut bahut shukriya. Sheetal evam Vikrant. 18.02.2022 (Our seven-years journey has turned into a bond of seven lifetimes. Thank you very much for being with us. Sheetal and Vikrant).”

Vikrant could be seen in a white sherwani and pink turban, gazing at Sheetal, who is in a red bridal lehenga and gold jewellery as the sun shines in the backdrop.

In another picture the couple is seen walking around the holy fire while holding hands. While the third, one is of pure 'nok-jhonk' between the newly weds, posing candidly for the camera Sheetal 'babydotes' Vikrant's face. Vikrant's Haseen Dillruba co-star Taapsee Pannu was among the first ones to react to his post.

"Finally! So so happy for both of you!" she said. His "14 Phere" co-star Kriti Kharbanda commented: “Aap dono ko bahut bahut mubarak! (Many many congratulations).” Just married also Mouni Roy said: “Congratulations you guys.”

Sonakshi Sinha said: “Congratulationssss.” Fans too wished both a “happy married life”. "Broken But Beautiful" famed Sheetal also posted the same images, on which Gauhar Khan said: "Super Congratulations and many blessings. God bless u two."

Singer and emcee Aditya Narayan commented: "Kya baat hai! Officially Bhabiji now."

Yami Gautam send red heart emojis. "Man ki Awaaz Pratigya" famed Pooja Gor send "dher saari badhaiyaan".

Bollywood is seeing wedding galore in 2022, even filmaker Farhan Akhtar ties the knot today with Shibani Dandekar.

Vikrant shot to fame with 2008 TV show "Dharam Veer", in which he played the role of Dharam.

Demurely, but with a strong screen presence, he went on to star in many more shows like "Balika Vadhu" and "Qubool Hai".

He made his film debut in the Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer, "Lootera". He has also featured in "Dil Dhadakne Do", "A Death In The Gunj", "Lipstick Under My Burkha", "Chhapaak", "Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare" and has stood out in OTT series like "Criminal Justice".

Vikrant's next release is "Love Hostel" also starring Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra and is set to be released on ZEE5 on February 25.
