Vipul Shah, John Abraham and Abhinay Deo team up for 'Force 2'

Mumbai, Feb 27 (IBNS): The 2011 action thriller Force not only created waves at the Box Office, but was also well appreciated by film critics and audiences alike, resulting in the making of its sequel.
Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film featured John Abraham and Genelia D'souze where John essayed the role of an honest cop who takes on the dark forces of the drug trafficking world.

Fast paced, thrilling and exciting Force created a lasting impression in the audience's mind.  Now, Vipul Shah is ready to re-create the thrill of Force with a sequel titled Force 2.

For the film, John Abraham has been roped in and Abhinay Deo will be behind the camera. Abhinay Deo is the director behind films like Delhi Belly and critically acclaimed TV show 24.

Vipul, who has had a great run at the box office with Commando, Force and Holiday says, "Force2 read as Force Square is an original script and will be an action thriller peppered with romance. The story is more layered and John will come back in a more power packed role.  Abhinay Deo has a very stylized way of storytelling so we are working towards a very slick and intense film."

Force 2 will go on floors this September and will have a 2016 release.
