Yami Gautam on her Gen-Y co-stars
Mumbai, Feb 19 (IBNS): Actress Yami Gautam, who made her successful debut with Vicky Donor, will be seen sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan in his upcoming next film, Badlapur.
Their chemistry in the content of the film is being loved by the audiences. The two have been on an extensive promotional tour across cities and have bonded over a lot of things like retro music and old Bollywood films.
Says Yami, "Varun's energy and passion for cinema is infectious. As chilled and cool that he comes across, his intensity and passion on set is what I admire the most. Despite coming from a film family, he doesn't take his stardom for granted. He is perhaps one of the best co stars to have. I relish working with him."
Prior to that, we also saw Yami romantically paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra endorsing a popular ice cream brand. Even this pairing garnered lot of notice because of the freshness and youthfulness.
They were to shoot a single ad together but because of the great response to their on screen chemistry an entire series of romantic campaign was shot with them. "I endorse one of my favorite brands with Sidharth. We have shot for a couple of interesting TVCs together. He has this calmness in him and shoots with him are very easy going," adds Yami.
She made her debut opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Vicky Donor and their pairing was much loved by the audiences where they felt that they were a perfect match. About Ayushmann, Yami shares, “It is always special when you work with someone on your first project. He is a very vibrant and multi talented guy.”
Going forward, the pretty young actress will be seen in a fresh pairing with Pulkit Samrat.
When asked about Pulkit Samrat, Yami shares, “We are in the process of shooting right now. He is an absolutely fun guy and we share a great rapport. He is quite an introvert but has opened up over the course of time. We share a lot of jokes and funny moments on set. I hope that people like our pairing.”
