Wimbledon: Young Nick Kyrgios beats Nadal, reaches quarter-finals
The Australian player stunned the French Open title holder 7-6 (7-5) 5-7 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals of Wimbledon.
"You have to believe that you can win the match from the start and I definitely did. I am playing really well on grass," Kyrgios told BBC .
Nadal failed to reach the last eight stage of the tournament since 2011.
In 2012, Nadal had exited from second round while he could not advance from the first round last year.
The match surely stunned Nadals' fans as his opponent, who is a wild card entrant, ranks 144th in the world.
Nadal is the currently the number one Tennis player in the world.
