India’s tea exports surge 10% in 2024, reaching near-decade high

New Delhi: India exported nearly 255 million kg of tea worth ₹7,111 crore in 2024, marking a 10% increase from 232 million kg in 2023, Moneycontrol reported.

Kolkata, June 17 (IBNS) India recorded a total tea production of 1233.14 million kgs during the last financial year (2015-16), the highest ever recorded by the country so far.
