New Delhi, Feb 1 (IBNS) : Union  Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Arun Jaitely, while presenting the General Budget 2018-19 in Parliament on Thursday, said that the Government has initiated the process of strategic disinvestment in 24 CPSEs including strategic privatization of Air India.    

Central government modifies FDI policy, foreign airlines to be allowed to invest upto 49 per cent in Air India

New Delhi, Jan 11 (IBNS): Foreign airlines will be allowed to invest up to 49 per cent in Air India via the approval route after the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave its approval to a number of amendments in the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Policy, according to media reports on Thursday.

Mumbai, July 5 (IBNS): Tata Sons on Wednesday "strongly" rejected the statement from ousted chairman of the group, Cyrus P. Mistry, which alleged that trustee of Tata Trusts R Venkataramanan was involved in wrongdoings at Air Asia India.
