Coal India to supply 1 lakh MT coal to Tripura tea industry

Agartala/UNI: The state-owned Coal India Ltd has committed to provide at least one lakh metric ton of coal to meet the energy demand of tea industry in Tripura to continue the funtioning of the tea processing units, officials said here today.

Kolkata/IBNS: Coal India has decided to allow a 10-day credit period to its customers of the non-regulated sector like steel, aluminum, cement, who were earlier required to pay the entire amount of their purchase in advance, media reports said.

New Delhi, Jan 6 (IBNS): Coal India Ltd. has supplied 407.02 MT coal to power sector during current year up to 04.02.2019thereby achieving a growth of 7.3% over the same period of last year.As on 04.02.2019, the averagerake loading of CIL to Power Sector including loading fromWashery& Good-Shed is 252.5 Rakes/day, which is an impressive growth of 13% over same period of last year.
