New Delhi: India intends to advocate for the termination of the moratorium on customs duties on e-commerce goods at the upcoming 13th Ministerial Conference (MC13) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Abu Dhabi later this month, media reported citing officials.

New Delhi/IBNS: Keeping in view the need of MSME sector, Customs duty is being raised on items like footwear (from 25% to 35% on footwear and from 15% to 20% on parts of footwear) and furniture (from 20% to 25%).

New Delhi, Jan 28 (IBNS): Apex industry body ASSOCHAM has urged the Union Government to reduce customs duty on chilled and frozen sea food from present level of 30 per cent to 10 per cent to bring down food inflation and satiate high demand for sea food in India.
