New Delhi: The Ministry of Labour & Employment is developing a scheme to extend benefits such as social security to gig and platform workers in India, according to media reports.

New Delhi, Feb 1 (IBNS): Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Arun Jaitley while presenting the General Budget 2017-18 in Parliament on Wednesday said that the Government is keen on fostering a conducive labour environment wherein labour rights are protected and harmonious labour relations lead to higher productivity.
