SAIL expected to supply 10 lakh tonnes of steel for railways track in 2018-19

New Delhi, Jan 7 (IBNS): Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) expects to supply 10 lakh tonnes of steel in 2018-19 and 12 lakh in 2019-20 to the Indian Railways for doubling of rail lines, gauge conversion, new lines and track renewal works.

New Delhi, May 25 (IBNS): Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) is the largest and main supplier of steel for constructing country's longest bridge 'Dhola-Sadiya’ which is built on river Lohit in Assam, an official statement claimed.
