South Asia Satellite launched successfully

Sriharikota, May 5 (IBNS): Creating history and carrying a 450-crore communications satellite, the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle or GSLV lifted off from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on Friday and was launched successfully.

Sriharikota, Mar 10 (IBNS) Indian rocket PSLV C-32 successfully put into orbit the country’s sixth navigation satellite, the 1,425-kg IRNSS-1F, around 20 minutes into flight, and at an altitude of 488.9 km, after a successful lift off from Sriharikota (Tamil Nadu) at 4pm on Thursday.

Sriharikota, July 10 (IBNS) In its thirtieth flight, conducted from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota today night (July 10, 2015), ISRO's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C28 successfully launched three identical DMC3 commercial Earth Observation Satellites, along with two smaller satellites from United Kingdom, into a polar Sun Synchronous Orbit which was very close to the intended orbit of 647 km height.
