UNICEF organizes health and sanitation awareness program for women and children in West Bengal

Kolkata, Aug 25 (IBNS): UNICEF has conducted the first ever consultation program to address the health and sanitation crisis faced by women and children in West Bengal in collaboration with faith-based organizations.

New York, July 1 (IBNS) United Nations agencies tracking access to water and sanitation targets against the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) warned on Tuesday that the lack of progress on sanitation threatens to undermine the child survival and health benefits from gains in access to safe drinking water.
