After Maggi noodles, pasta and macaroni of other companies face FSSAI tests

New Delhi, June 8 (IBNS) After Nestle that faces to withdraw its popular noodles brand Maggi following a crackdown over food safety, other brands manufacturing noodles, pasta, and macaroni face trouble as . Food safety regulator Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has ordered testing of branded noodles, pasta and macaroni.

New Delhi, May 21 (IBNS) While the popular Maggi noodles faced a threat of a ban in Uttar Pradesh after authorities there said monosodium glutamate or MSG and lead were found beyond permissible limits in samples, Nestle India, the company manufacturing the food product, said there are no plans to recall the brand from market and claimed that it is safe to eat.
