Centre maps 19 states with Remdesivir manufacturers for smooth supply

New Delhi/IBNS: The Health Ministry and the Department of Pharmaceuticals have made an interim allocation of antiviral drug remdesivir for 19 states and Union Territories till April 30 and manufacturers have been mapped in these states with high Covid-19 burden for fast and uniterrupted supply.

New Delhi/IBNS: India has taken steps to double the production of ant-viral drug Remdesivir from 38.80 lakh units per month to 74 lakh units per month by early next month, the Home Ministry said on Friday and asked the states to ensure smooth transport and supply of the critical drug used in treating Covid-19.
