Governments, corporations pledge at UN summit to eliminate deforestation by 2030

New York, Sept 24 (IBNS) Dozens of Governments, businesses, civil society and indigenous peoples participating in the United Nations Climate Summit in New York on Tuesday pledged to halve deforestation by 2020 and to end within the following decade.
