After the reversal of order by the Medical Council of India, NIOS students along with thousands of other candidates studying in the open school system heaved a sigh of relief on once again being eligible to write NEET 2018. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for the year 2018 is scheduled to be held on May 6. Candidates interested in admission to various medical and dental colleges in the country must appear for the exam and clear cut off for NEET 2018 in order to get admission. Students completing their 10+2 from open school and NIOS will now be allowed to appear for the national level medical entrance examination after being debarred by MCI last year.
