Centre provides 27 pc reservation for OBCs, 10 pc for Economically Weaker Sections in medical courses

New Delhi/IBNS: The Centre has allowed a 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Classes and 10 per cent reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections under the All India Quota Scheme for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Thursday.

Mumbai, Mar 9 (IBNS): Getting into top junior colleges in the Maharashtra capital will be tougher this year for general candidates with 83 to 93 per cent seats coming under reservations this time.
