Channels advised restraint while showing kids in reality shows

New Delhi, Jun 18 (UNI): The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued an advisory to all private satellite TV channels to avoid showing children in indecent, suggestive and inappropriate manner in dance reality shows or other programmes.

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI): The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued an advisory regarding carrying of news and current affairs content on TV channels wherein permission has been given for uplinking of TV channels under categories of non-News and Current Affairs and News and Current Affairs.

New Delhi, Jul 6 (IBNS): All India Radio expects to commission two new Shortwave Solid State digital transmitters, of 100 kW power each. for dissemination of content across the border for Afghanistan- Pakistan region by the end of August 2017, announced Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday.
