Sonamura-Daukandi route connecting Tripura with National Waterways of India via Bangladesh to open from Sep 5

New Delhi/IBNS: A trial run of Sonamura-Daukandi route, which connects Tripura with the National Waterways of India through Bangladesh for the first time would conclude at Sonamura on September 05 next in the presence of Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb and India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement on Thursday.

New Delhi, Feb 26 (IBNS): Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday for jointly developing infrastructure for fuels, lubricating oil, LPG, Natural Gas and any other related fuel and gas for meeting the requirement of national waterways.
