Kolkata scribes protest against ruling party's alleged attack on journalists across Bengal during Panchayat nomination coverage

Kolkata, Apr 11 (IBNS): Days after several media personnel covering the filing of nomination papers for upcoming Panchayat polls in West Bengal were brutally beaten up allegedly by state's ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC)'s activists at different locations across the state, Kolkata-based journalists staged protest and held a 'silent' march at city's downtown Esplanade area on Wednesday evening.
