Kolkata/IBNS: In further embarrassment for the West Bengal government, the Supreme Court on Monday quashed the State's plea challenging Paschim Banga Chhatra Samaj leader Sayan Lahiri's relief in connection with the violence during march to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's office, Nabanna, last week.

Kolkata/IBNS: Paschim Banga Chhatra Samaj leader Sayan Lahiri, who was arrested in connection with the August 27 march to the state secretariat Nabanna, was granted bail by the Calcutta High Court on Friday leaving the administration egg-faced, media reports said.
