NF Railway to run tourist special trains between Guwahati-New Haflong, New Jalpaiguri-Alipurduar

Guwahati/IBNS: The Northeast Frontier Railway is going to introduce Vistadome Tourist special trains in two identified popular routes having tourism potential – one is between Guwahati - New Haflong and other is between New Jalpaiguri – Alipurduar Junction from Aug 28.

Guwahati/UNI: The revenue of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decreased due to non-running of regular passenger trains since the beginning of the nationwide lockdown from end of March owing to COVID-19 pandemic.

Guwahati/UNI: Over Rs 33 crore has been refunded to more than 3.67 lakh passengers by Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) for cancellation for trains due to nationwide lockdown to combat COVID 19 since March 24 last.
