Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the celebration as India awaits the grand opening of a temple dedicated to Lord Ram in the north Indian town of Ayodhya, considered by millions as the birthplace of the deity, who is seen as an embodiment of virtue and chivalry by the Hindus who fought an over seven-decade-long legal battle over the site where a mosque stood till 1992.
