Centre today announced top-level bureaucratic shuffles as it named Road Transport and Highways Secretary Aramane Giridhar as the new defence secretary and Secretary in the Department of Financial Services Sanjay Malhotra as the new revenue secretary.

Delay in filing audited returns may lead to political parties lose tax exemptions

New Delhi, Feb 2 (IBNS): Political parties have to file audited returns by December every year or risk losing tax exemptions, said Revenue Secretary Hasmukh Adhia, according to media reports on Thursday.
