With organised Islamist groups pushing it, violence against religious minorities in Pakistan is increasingly moving beyond the local and spontaneous anger of the Muslims, media reports and probes by human rights bodies indicate.

Malappuram/UNI: A 17-year-old boy, who had approached the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) here expressing his deep desire to live like a woman for the rest of his life, has been handed over to a transgender social activist for his care and protection for one month.
