Coronavirus: Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina to set up SAARC institution to fight public health threat

Dhaka/UNI:  Stressing the need for forging collaboration among the SAARC countries through collective expertise and resources to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday proposed that an institution be established to prevent and fight any public health threat in the South Asian region in future.

New Delhi, Nov 28 (IBNS): Declining any possibility of India's participation at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit in Pakistan, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday said the Kartarpur corridor won't lead to any bilateral talks unless the neighbouring country stops terrorism, media reports said.

Islamabad, Nov 27 (IBNS): Pakistan will invite Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the upcoming  South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) summit, local media reports said quoting Foreign Office official.
