Impact of Congress party's agitation: Several Kolkata cinema halls suspend The Accidental PM's shows over security concern

Kolkata, Jan 12 (IBNS): A day after a section of Youth Congress activists stormed into few Kolkata movie theatres during the screening of The Accidental Prime Minister, authorities of multiple cinema halls across the city on Saturday decided to suspend shows of the controversial movie indefinitely, citing safety and security concerns of the spectators.

Kolkata, Jan 11 (IBNS): Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi without naming him over the movie The Accidental Prime Minister, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who was once a part of the Congress party, said a movie named 'Disastrous PM’ should also be released. She made the comments on a day when a cinema hall screen in a multiplex was torn up by alleged Congress activists.
