Unlock 4: Delhi Metro resumes services on Magenta, Grey lines

New Delhi/UNI: After resuming services on most of its Lines under Stage-I of the Graded resumption from September 7-10, where services were being run for four hours each in morning and evening, the Delhi Metro resumed services on its last major Line-8, the Magenta Line from Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden (37.5 KM/25 stations) & Line-9, Grey Line from Dwarka to Najafgarh (4.3 KM/3 stations) on Friday, under Stage-II.

New Delhi/UNI: As a part of the Stage-I of graded resumption of metro services, the Delhi Metro on Thursday resumed operations after 172 days on its three Lines- Red Line (Rithala-Shaheed Sthal), Green Line (Kirti Nagar/Inderlok-Brig Hoshiar Singh) and Violet Line (Kashmere Gate-Raja Nahar Singh).

New Delhi/IBNS: As the Centre allowed the resumption of metro services from the next month as a part of its Unlock 4 plan, the Delhi Metro announced its new guidelines necessitating the use of masks and smart cards.

New Delhi/IBNS: After announcing fresh guidelines for the Unlock 4, which will come into effect from Sept 1, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla on Saturday wrote to the Chief Secretaries of all states as well as Union Territories (UTs), informing that no local lockdown outside containment zones shall be announced without prior consultation with the Centre.
