NEW DELHI, JULY 24 (UNI):- Journalists under the banner of National Union of Journalists (India) raising slogans during a demonstration in support of their demand for justice to Journalist Vikram Joshi who was murdered in Ghaziabad recently, in New Delhi on Friday.

Press Club, Kolkata, felicitated 8 women journalists and photo journalists for their pioneering role and outstanding contribution before the International Women's Day. They included Sikha Mukherjee  (Times of India), Saswati Sarkar (Basumati), Susmita Roy (Uttar Banga Sambad), Arundhati Mukherjee (Aajkal), Sahana Nag Choudhury (Bartaman), Monideepa Banerjee (NDTV), Ratna Roy (All India Radio), Aditi Saha (Photo Journalist, Times Of India). Dr. Sashi Panjaa, MOS (IC) Woman & Child Development and Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal, was present in the felicitation programme.
