West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Sunday held the annual Martyrs' Day rally at Esplanade in Kolkata today (July 21, 2019) where she attacked the BJP alleging the party used fraudulent methods and misused the Election Commission and the voting machinery to win polls. She said the elections that brought BJP to power is one won by fixing of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).  The Martyrs' Day observed by the Trinamool Congress to commemorate those killed on this day 26 years ago in police firing in the city during an agitation.
