US Open: No major upset on day 2 as big names enter second round

New York, Sept 2 (IBNS) Day one of the 2015 US Open was a bit topsy-turvy as higher ranked players Kei Nishikori and Ana Ivanovic made shock exits but the second day provided little drama as Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Stanislas Wawrinka from the men's Singles division and Simona Halep, Caroline Wozniacki and Petra Kvitova from the respective women's division stormed into the second round of the ongoing tennis tournament, here on Tuesday.

Melbourne, Jan 24 (IBNS): Spectators received another shock on Saturday as Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova crashed out of the Australian Open after losing her women's singles event match against Madison Keys here.
