Islamabad: Pakistani movie Joyland, which has been selected for the Oscars and hailed for its storyline centering around a transgender love affair, has been banned by the country's censor board, media reports said on Monday.

Cannes/UNI: Pakistani cinema has picked up its first-ever honour at the Cannes film festival with the Lahore transgender drama Joyland winning the Jury Prize in the festival's Un Certain Regard section.
