At least 155 hostages were released, and Pakistan security forces killed 27 rebels after members of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked a passenger train in the restive Balochistan province on Tuesday.

Members of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), the group that wants Balochistan to be free from Pakistan, attacked the Jaffar Express in Mach area on Tuesday and claimed they have hijacked the train.
