Expert concludes review of new information on death of former-UN chief Dag Hammarskjöld

New York, Aug 10(Just Earth News): The United Nations on Wednesday received an expert report that summarizes the new information made available by Member States and other sources and assesses whether and to what degree that information helps to establish the conditions and circumstances resulting in the tragic deaths of former Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld and 15 others traveling with him.

New York, Nov 19 (Just Earth News/IBNS): Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday urged United Nations Member States to make available all information they may have in their possession related to the circumstances and conditions of the crash that killed Dag Hammarskjöld while he was serving as UN chief more than 50 years ago, saying previous requests “have not been conclusively answered” and that unreleased material "may still be available" that could shed new light into his death.
