New York, June 24 (Just Earth News): Marking the tenth anniversary of the first meeting of the Peacebuilding Commission –which has become known as ‘Peacekeeping Day’ – United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson on Thursday urged Member States, particularly those with membership in the Security Council, to make full use of the Commission and its role in preventing violent conflict.
