UN food relief agency provides logistics support to boost earthquake response in Japan

New York, May 3 (Just Earth News/IBNS): The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) said on Monday that it is providing logistics support to Kumamoto prefecture in south-western Japan as part of assistance to people affected by strong earthquakes in April.

New York, Apr 19 (Just Earth News/IBNS): The United Nations stands ready to provide assistance to Japan following powerful earthquakes that struck Kumamoto province last Thursday and Saturday, killing over 40 people and displacing some 110,000 from their homes.
