North-east Nigeria displacement crisis continues amid ‘increased sophistication’ of attackers, warns UN

New York, Feb 6 (IBNS): An upsurge in violent attacks in crisis-riven north-east Nigeria has displaced nearly 60,000 people in the last three months, the UN migration agency, IOM, said on Tuesday.

New  York, Dec 28 (IBNS): After fleeing terrorist attacks, as well as clashes between Government forces and militia, more than 2,000 newly displaced Nigerians have arrived in an already over-stretched camp known as Teacher’s Village, in Maiduguri, the capital of the country’s Borno State.
