Vancouver/IBNS: A state of emergency for the unincorporated Stikine region was  declared by the province of British Columbia in response to the ongoing wildfire situation and expansion of campfire bans throughout the province.

Ottawa/IBNS: A state of emergency was declared in Canada's Ottawa on Sunday night by Mayor Jim Watson as the truckers convoy of estimated 5,000 people and 1,000 trucks and personal vehicles continued to disrupt the normal life of the Canadian capital during the weekend.
