Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday said his government will propose to give a 500-acre amusement and entertainment destination in Manesar where the new Disneyland Park might be created.

If the proposal turns into reality, it will be the first Disneyland Park in the country.

“This entertainment hub will bring economic, cultural, and social benefits not only to Haryana but to the entire country,” Saini was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

Saini said the destination will make Haryana a 'game changer' in tourism sector.

He further said: "Manesar’s proximity to Delhi, its infrastructure, and corporate presence make it the perfect location.”

The Walt Disney Company owns five Disneylands across the world.

They are present in California and Florida in the United States, Paris (France), Tokyo (Japan), and Hong Kong.
