Afghanistan: Unknown gunmen put private radio station on fire
Kabul,Jan 22 (IBNS): A private radio station was put on fire by unknown gunmen in western Ghor province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Monday.
Abdul Wadood Samim, manager of the Adalat Radio Station, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place on Sunday night when he was preparing a programme.
He said the attackers entered his room and started beating him.
He was tied by the attackers and all equipment were put on fire.
He alleged that the police did not help him.
Samim told the news agency: “Our office is located close to a police station. We called the police personnel but they did not respond.”
